Calorie Recommendations

The recommended daily calorie intake is calculated using the Mifflin-St. Jeor formula, which estimates the Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). Based on BMR, physical activity level, and user goals, the recommended daily calorie intake is determined.

Formulas: For women: (10 × weight in kg) + (6.25 × height in cm) – (5 × age in years) – 161. For men: (10 × weight in kg) + (6.25 × height in cm) – (5 × age in years) + 5.

Body Mass Index (BMI)

BMI helps assess the ratio of weight to height and provides a general indication of whether a person's weight is within a healthy range.
