This privacy policy applies to the Nutrition AI: Tracker & Coach app (hereinafter referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, developed by Daniil Martynov (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is provided "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects the following information when you register and use the service:
Account Information: Your name and email address (provided via Apple Sign-In or email registration) to create and manage your account.
Profile Information: Optional personal details you provide including age, height, weight, sex, training level, fitness focus, and dietary preferences. This information helps personalize your nutrition coaching experience.
Health and Nutrition Data: Meal logs, food descriptions, nutrient intake data, and nutrition goals you set within the Application. If you grant permission, the Application may also read from and write to Apple HealthKit to sync your nutrition data.
Photos: Images you capture or select from your photo library for AI-powered food analysis. These photos are processed to identify foods and estimate nutritional content.
AI Conversations: Messages you send to the AI Coach feature are processed to provide personalized nutrition guidance and recommendations.
Usage Information: Data about how you interact with the Application, including AI feature usage statistics, to improve our services.
Automatically Collected Information
The Application may automatically collect device information such as device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and crash/performance data for diagnostics and service improvement.
Location Information
This Application does not collect location data from your device.
Third-Party Services
The Application utilizes the following third-party services that have their own privacy policies: Apple (Sign-In, HealthKit), OpenAI (AI features), InstantDB (data storage), Sentry (crash reporting and performance monitoring), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Expo (app infrastructure).
Payment information for subscriptions is processed directly by Apple through the App Store. The Service Provider does not have access to your payment card details.
Data Sharing
Your personal data is not sold to third parties. Data may be shared with: third-party service providers listed above solely to operate the Application; law enforcement when required by law; or in anonymized, aggregated form for analytics purposes.
Data Retention
User-provided data is retained for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable period thereafter. You may request deletion of your data by contacting support@nutritionai.fitness.
Children's Privacy
The Application is not intended for children under 18 years of age. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact support@nutritionai.fitness for immediate removal.
Security
The Service Provider implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your Rights
You may access, update, or delete your personal information through the Application settings or by contacting support@nutritionai.fitness. You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through your device settings.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Changes will be posted within the Application. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
